CARL REEVES Jr

Carl Reeves is the founder and CEO of the Roosevelt Island Amenity Management, LLC. Since 2010, Carl has been an American Redcross certified lifeguard. Starting in 2012, carl obtained and has maintained his American Redcross Water Safety Instructor Certification. Carl takes pride in educating others. For this reason, he continues to teach swim lessons weekly. In addition to swim lessons, Carl is also an American Redcross Certified Lifeguard, CPR/AED, and First Aid instructor.
Carl serves as a leader in the community. He is currently serving a two year term as the Co-Chair of the Roosevelt Island Residents Association Planning Committee. In this role, Carl is required to represent the best interests of the residents of Roosevelt Island in matters related to Transportation, new construction, sustainability, and infrastructure. In addition, Carl is an active member on the Roosevelt Island Residents Association Youth Committee. As an active member, he is assisting in advocating for Island infrastructural upgrades that will enhance the experience of island teenagers by the inclusion of a new skatepark. Finally, Carl serves as a representative of the Southtowns on the Roosevelt Island Common Council. In this role, he works with other leaders in the community to make decisions on actions to be taken in the best interest of the general public in a public forum platform.
